    Gordon Fox discussed discrepancies in rockfish conservation measures over the last few years.

  2. CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE ADOPTION OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 7.50(b)(91.1), TITLE 14, CCR, RE: KLAMATH-TRINITY RIVER SALMON REGULATIONS.

    Received Department's proposals; no public testimony. Commission adopted amendments as proposed to include Option 3 regarding the New River.

  3. CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE ADOPTION OF SECTION 125, TITLE 14, CCR, REGARDING COMMERCIAL ROCK CRAB FISHERY.


    Received Department's report; received public testimony. Due to lack of a quorum, item continued to the Commission's June 24, 2004, meeting in Crescent City.

  4. CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE ADOPTION OF PROPOSED CHANGE TO SECTION 670.5, TITLE 14, CCR, TO ADD THE XANTUS'S MURRELET (Synthliboramphus hypoleucus) TO THE LIST OF THREATENED SPECIES.

    Due to lack of a quorum, item continued to the Commission's June 24, 2004, meeting in Crescent City.

  5. DEPARTMENT UPDATE ON APRIL 5-9, 2004, PFMC MEETING AND PRESENTATION OF THE RANGE OF OPTIONS FOR GROUNDFISH MANAGEMENT FOR 2005- 2006.

  6. CONSIDERATION OF REQUEST OF THE CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY, PURSUANT TO SECTION 2076.5, OF THE FISH AND GAME CODE, TO TAKE EMERGENCY ACTION TO LIST THE TRICOLORED BLACKBIRD (Agelaius tricolor) AS AN ENDANGERED SPECIES.

    Received Department's report; received public testimony. Commission found that the petition did not provide sufficient information to warrant an emergency listing, and directed the Department to complete its initial review of the petition and provide the Commission with its recommendations.

  7. DEPARTMENT PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO SECTIONS 180.1 AND 180.3, TITLE 14, CCR, RE: CONVERSION OF SPOT PRAWN TRAWL PERMITS TO TRAP PERMITS.
